DESCRIPTION:

This database lists the Union volunteers enlisted in the various Kentucky military organizations during the Civil War. In addition to providing the names of the volunteers this record also lists rank, when enrolled, when and where mustered in, when and where mustered out, and remarks, which may include information dealing with promotions, captures, paroles, deaths, missing soldiers, and transfers. These records are part of the Report of the Adjutant General of the State of Kentucky.
